(Peaceful-summery-beachy Music-matching!)
Do you know that sensation when you're using a cheap pair of earbuds for a long period (days or weeks) because they're on hand & practical and you’ve already have got used to them, they sound good enough to you, and all of a sudden, one night you decide to grab your bulky good ones, those headphones that you only wear from time to time because they might not be wireless and they might need an amplifier to run properly, but suddenly your mind just melts and you remember what good sound is like, resetting your audiophile baseline till the next iteration.
That's how I felt the last week when I stopped everything and sat on the couch to enjoy a silly tv cooking show with my family for a couple of hours, without thinking about anything else and without any regrets of that time investment.
When sprinting becomes your routine, it is time to stop and wear the good headphones for a while. Reset your baseline and start fresh with a clearer mind.
This week's brief letter is my (soft) reset, and it can be yours too. I'm leaving all aside and enjoying the sunset.
Ten un buen reset
Otherwise, if you feel like you want to keep sprinting or need more fuel, I leave you here a new episode of the Lex Fridman's podcast, interviewing Grimes. It is a great episode, and it gave me a unique point of view of Grimes.
